Sauna
Welcome to the sauna at Mageli Camping!
For the best experience and safe use, please read the following guidelines before you begin.
Opening and Preparation
- Book the sauna online, at the reception, or by contacting us.
- The usage time is 1.5 hours per booking (can be extended if available).
- The key box code will be provided upon booking. It is important to return the key to the box after use.
- Typical heating time: 30–45 minutes.
Recommended temperature: 70–90 °C.
Before Entering
- Bring a towel to sit on.
- Showers and toilets can be found 100 m north of the sauna.
- Drink some water before entering – but avoid large meals.
During Use
- Place a towel on the bench before sitting or lying down.
- If you want more steam, you may pour a small amount of water on the sauna stones. Use the ladle.
- Do not use soap, oil, or any other liquids on the stones.
- Listen to your body: Normal session time: 8–15 minutes. Take breaks outside if you feel too warm or dizzy.
- Keep the door closed to maintain heat.
- Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
- Food, glass, and glass bottles are not allowed in the sauna.
- Avoid using perfume, lotions, or oils that may damage the wood.
Safety
- Do not use the sauna if you have heart problems, fever, are under the influence of alcohol, or feel unwell.
- Do not place objects on the heater.
- Do not touch the heater or the stones – they are extremely hot.
- Leave the sauna immediately if you experience any discomfort.
After Use
- Take all personal belongings with you.
- Close the door behind you so the heat stays inside. This is important!
